I'm back!

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Just been swamped with classwork like usual!

Though I've managed to sneak in some time for a couple of special effects tests.
Enjoy!

Shiny New Things

I remember the first time I sat down in front of a 3D Modelling program when I was a sophomore in high school. It was an amazing time, especially given the program was ZBrush, but as time went on I never modeled for fun or anything other then technical renders for the longest time. Now, I am actually iterating things out all the time.

I have many more things modeled out than just these two, but they are for another time. The top image is the extremely rough version of a fuselage, while the bottom is an almost finished engine, at least to the extend of modelling. I need to do the mapping for the engine, but I feel like it's coming along nicely.

Grinding Away

It's been a little chunk of time since I last posted, and all for good reason. I've been engrossed in working on 3D models of a small Japanese pocket knife. I really do love 3D modelling and I hope I get the chance to really work on something amazing some day. Below is a quick render of my model without it being really cleaned up.

The final product will hopefully be better, until then, I'll try to keep up with posting some of the drawings I do every day.
