So here's my portfolio submission for application to be admitted into the upper division of my major.

Big Belly Bot

 I had a ton of fun drawing this guy, I spent some time referencing construction equipment. I think this is the first robot character I honestly enjoy. I am definitely going to push this guy farther and draw out some other concepts for him.

A few drawings from figure drawing the other night. I am certainly getting better, but it's going to be a long time until these are really nice.

Some more ship sketches from the past week or so.

I have actually been thinking about how many of these I do on a weekly basis, and why I do. I've noticed how every artist I know personally has one type of thing that they draw when they are tired, exhausted, frustrated, etc. Some people draw cakes or cats, or cats in cakes; others draw computers. I design spaceships.

I like the second one more than the first. It might have to do with the fact that there are less perspective problems with that one. Yeah. That's it.
